Josh has been principal designer and creative director of his own firm since shortly after graduating from UCLA.

Josh's work has been recognized both nationally and internationally, with awards from virtually every major design show, and many client-industry competitions.

The promotional campaign for the landmark television event Scared Silent: Exposing and Ending Child Abuse received a silver Effie Award for marketing effectiveness from the American Marketing Association.

His firm's work on Del Rey Colony won four Elan awards from the Sales and Marketing Council of the Building Industry of America, including its Grand Award. Both Builder magazine and the National Association of Home Builders named the Colony "Marketing Project of the Year".

Josh served as art director and associate producer on The Activist, a feature film for Universal Studios. He was a founding member of Exhibitionists, Inc., a consortium of creative and administrative professionals who coordinated the production and promotion of fine art exhibitions and festivals. He has been on the Mayor's Advisory Committee for the Arts for the City of Los Angeles, and was a member of the board of the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery Associates.

Josh is past president, and currently on the Advisory Board, of the American Institute of Graphic Arts/Los Angeles, and served on the long-range strategic planning committee for the national AIGA organization, focusing on business outreach.

He has taught graphic design and marketing at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.
